Is all theatre Political?
I personally, believe that all theatre is political. I believe this because the majority of all problems that arise in life and are discussed in theatre, are rooted from politics. For the minority that supposedly "aren't," i believe that for the main event that has happened within this piece, or the emotions that are brought about, often relate to or originate from politics, just not as strongly as others. So even though a piece may not discuss politics, emotions or issues that arise are rooted from politics. I believe this because it is the government of the country that shape the nation, and all it's outlooks on situations, and so any problems or opinions that arise, may not be directly political, but often start with how the government and it's policies has effected peoples emotions.
A well justified opinion!
